Who wants to eat? – Update

You know, I have no idea if I have regular readers on this blog – especially here in Atlanta. So this is probably going nowhere – but who wants to eat? I’m pretty frustrated with trying coordinate friends schedules and then coerce them to eat along Buford Highway all the time, so I figured it might be easier to just pick a place, date and time and see if the people interested in ethnic food will show up. I would hope there would be a common interest in ethnic food, and possibly other topics (NO POLITICS OR RELIGION).

(no particular reason for the picture – I just like it)

** UPDATED ** see below

I’ve found typically that people that share a common interest in food tend to get along. Occasionally, they can just freak each other out, but who knows… Might not be the best of ideas, but I never claimed to be a genius.

If you are interested, just leave a comment on this post. We’ll see how it goes and I’ll post a time and date. I’m think Pho Dai Loi 2 might be a good safe place to start.

** UPDATE **

Well we’ve got the beginnings of a small disorganized mob. Here’s the date/time/place I’m proposing:

Wednesday, May 28 – 7:00PM

Pho Dai Loi #2
4186 Buford Hwy NE # G
Atlanta, GA 30345
(404) 633-2111

If this date/time doesn’t work, let me know (I’ll be there anyway) and we’ll try to coordinate a time that works better.

  1. I may not be able to make it (all depends on how long the movers take) but I’ll try – thanks for getting this together!

  2. Well, I hope it works out so that you can join us. Everyone needs to eat! Good luck with your move. I’ll post another “get together” soon.

  3. Thanks for reading, Fridge.

This post was just looking to see if any local Atlanta readers were interested in meeting for dinner – no real point other than I get hungry and it’s more fun to eat with other people.

Looks like you’re in the UK?
