Taqueria Los Rayos is conveniently located just off approach to Runway 2R-20L at Dekalb Peachtree Airport. The occasional Gulfstream or Citation 100 ft overhead does little to detract from this tiny, authentic taqueria.
Honestly, not much distinguishes the menu here, but the food is consistently good and this place is almost always open (til 4AM on weekends) – so if you’re jonesing for a good barbacoa (goat) torta after midnight, this is where you need to go.

pros: nice wait staff, they don’t speak english but that adds to the experience.
Salsa is good, steak tacos where great.
Cons: No beer, I heard they may soon but right now (may 4th 2009) they don’t.
The taco’s at Mercado #6 are better. Located about 1/2 mile south of N.Druid Hills.
Thanks for the recommendation on Mercado #6. Will have to try that soon.
