Lunch with a friend at Tairyou, a Korean/Japanese restaurant just outside the perimeter on Buford Highway.

They didn’t offer my standard Japanese lunch (chirashizushi – a bowl of sushi rice with assorted sashimi) so I went with kalbi bento (grilled beef short ribs marinated in soy, garlic and sugar).

Would you recommend the restaurant?
Admittedly, it’s not much of a review, is it? But to answer your question – yes, I think I would recommend giving it a try. I would like to try some proper sushi here (I can’t really comment on that yet), and some of the other Korean dishes seemed very appealing.
